In between his animated shows from the Sixties and the Eighties, Spider-Man had his own live-action TV series on CBS, where Peter Parker was a bug-bitten college student freelancing at the Bugle. Columbia Pictures cobbled together episodes of The Amazing Spider-Man and released Spiderman Strikes Back (1978) worldwide. Spidey acts more like Superman. And, for a New Yorker, he doesn't complain once going to Los Angeles, where his final battle takes place on a studio lot. As Carl puts it, the Los Angeles production must had been really lazy.

Fans of Carl will enjoy this episode. The first half hour of the show has Carl holding court with Paul Brumbaugh, host of Mutiny Radio's most popular show, The Edge of Insanity.
